Day 1: Nagpur to Umred
Arrival at Nagpur -
As you step off the plane in Nagpur at 11:00 hrs, you are greeted by our friendly representative. The anticipation of the journey ahead fills the air as you make your way to the waiting vehicle.
Nagpur Known as the Orange City, Nagpur is not just the winter capital of Maharashtra but also a gateway to several wildlife sanctuaries. Its rich cultural heritage and modern amenities make it a perfect starting point for your adventure.
Journey to Umred -
The 50 km drive from Nagpur to Umred Pauni Wildlife Sanctuary takes about an hour. This journey, though short, is a scenic route that gradually transitions from urban landscapes to lush greenery.
Along the way, you’ll witness the changing topography, dotted with small villages and expansive fields. The drive sets a peaceful tone, offering glimpses of rural life and natural beauty.
Checking into the Lodge -
