Cancellation and Refund Policy for Jungle Safari Bookings

Introduction

This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains the terms for cancelling or modifying your jungle safari booking with Wild India Safari. Because safari permits are issued by forest authorities, cancellation rules are strict and time-based.

Before confirming your booking, we recommend reading this policy carefully to understand refund eligibility and applicable charges.

Cancellation Policy for Safari Bookings

Safari bookings are subject to government regulations, and therefore cancellation rules depend on the timing of the request.

  • More than 120 days before safari date: Full refund after deduction of booking and processing charges
  • 46 to 120 days before safari date: 25% cancellation charges applicable
  • Less than 45 days before safari date: No refund will be provided

In addition, once safari permits are booked, they are generally non-transferable and non-refundable as per forest department guidelines.

Refund Policy

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–10 working days.

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • Payment gateway charges and taxes are non-refundable
  • In case of unforeseen circumstances (such as park closure), alternative arrangements or partial refunds may be offered

However, refunds are not applicable for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.

Important Notes

  • Safari bookings are controlled by the forest department
  • Weather conditions or animal sightings are not guaranteed
  • Entry fees and permits are regulated and cannot be altered

 

Because of these factors, we advise all guests to plan their safari carefully.
