TADOBA PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR
Nestled in the heart of Maharashtra, Tadoba National Park stands as a wildlife haven that offers a profound glimpse into India’s untamed beauty. This sprawling sanctuary, covering approximately 1,727 square kilometers, is a paradise for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. It is renowned as a place where the majestic Bengal tiger roams free, and the flora and fauna flourish in harmony.
Tadoba National Park is located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. The park’s terrain is a blend of dense forests, rolling hills, and expansive grasslands. The Andhari River meanders through the park, enhancing its scenic beauty and providing a vital water source for its inhabitants.
The climate in Tadoba varies with the seasons. Summers can be quite hot, with temperatures soaring up to 47°C (116°F), while winters are cooler and more pleasant, making it the ideal time for wildlife spotting. Monsoons bring a lush green cover to the park, though safaris are less common during this time.
The park’s flora is predominantly dry deciduous forest, featuring teak and bamboo as the primary vegetation. These trees not only provide shelter to the wildlife but also contribute to the park’s unique ecosystem.
Apart from teak and bamboo, Tadoba is home to other significant plant species like ain, bija, dhauda, haldu, salai, and semal. These plants are integral to the park’s biodiversity, supporting various forms of life and maintaining ecological balance.
