KANHA PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR
Kanha National Park, located in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, India, is a vast expanse of wilderness that spans over 940 square kilometers. Established in 1955 and later designated as a Tiger Reserve in 1973, Kanha is renowned for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes.
The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Bengal tiger, leopards, and the rare Barasingha, which has been successfully conserved here. The diverse habitats, ranging from dense forests to open grasslands, provide a sanctuary for over 300 species of birds, making it a paradise for bird watchers. Kanha’s success in wildlife conservation, particularly the revival of the Barasingha population, stands as a testament to its effective management and dedication to preserving India’s natural heritage.
