Day 1: Veraval to Gir National Park
Arrival at Veraval -
Welcome to an adventure that promises to be unforgettable. Your journey begins at Veraval Railway Station, where our representative will greet you at 11:00 hrs. After a brief introduction and instructions, we will embark on a scenic drive to Gir National Park. As we travel through the picturesque landscapes, you’ll feel the anticipation building for the wildlife encounters that lie ahead.
Checking into the Lodge -
Once we arrive, you’ll check into a charming lodge that offers both comfort and a touch of wilderness. Post lunch, it’s time to dive into the heart of the experience with your first Jeep safari into the Gir National Park.
Afternoon Safari -
The highlight of your first day at Gir National Park is undoubtedly the afternoon Jeep safari. After lunch, you’ll board an open Jeep, accompanied by an experienced guide who knows the park like the back of their hand. As you venture into the wilderness, your eyes will be peeled for any signs of movement in the dense forest. The thrill of spotting wildlife in their natural habitat is an experience like no other.
Gir National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, with the Asiatic lion being the most famous resident. Day 2: Morning and Afternoon Safaris
The second day of your trip is dedicated to exploring the park in depth. You’ll have the opportunity to embark on both morning and afternoon Jeep safaris, maximizing your chances of spotting the park’s diverse wildlife. The day begins early, with a morning safari that takes advantage of the cooler temperatures and the animals’ natural activity patterns. After a midday break, you’ll head back out for an afternoon safari, offering a different perspective of the park. The day ends with a relaxing evening at the lodge, where you can reflect on the day’s adventures.
After the morning safari, return to the resort for lunch. Enjoy some leisure time, perhaps a dip in the pool or a relaxing nap, recharging for the afternoon activities.
Day 3: Final Safari and Departure
Morning Jeep Safari -
On your final day, enjoy one last morning Jeep drive in the park. Soak in the sights and sounds of Gir, making the most of your remaining time in this wilderness paradise.
Return to Veraval and Departure
You’ll be transferred back to Veraval Railway Station for your flight home or to your next destination. Reflect on your journey and the incredible wildlife experiences you’ve had.
